Microsoft has introduced a Family Plan tier for Xbox Game Pass, allowing up to five members to share a subscription across consoles, PCs, and cloud gaming. At ₹1,499 per month in India, it offers full access to over 100 first-party titles, EA Play, and day-one Game Pass releases. The plan also includes cross-device syncing, achievements, and game saves.
Benefits include a family sharing hub, parental controls, and game activity alerts. Microsoft aims to drive multi-user engagement and compete with Sony’s PlayStation Plus. We expect the Family Plan to launch globally by July with regional pricing. This package could significantly boost Xbox’s install base, especially in households with multiple gamers and kids.
