Samsung Rolls Out One UI 7 Beta for Galaxy S24 Series

Samsung has unveiled the public beta of One UI 7, its latest Android skin, for Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra users. Key features include a redesigned quick settings panel with intuitive toggles, improved privacy controls, and enhanced AI capabilities powered by Samsung’s Galaxy AI. The update also introduces Smart Widgets—customizable, collapsible widgets that users can stack or pin, offering streamlined home-screen layouts.

Better battery optimisation is another highlight: One UI 7 now intelligently prioritizes the most-used apps and suspends background processes for the rest, extending usage time by up to 15%. The camera app benefits too, with autofocus and low-light performance improvements for every lens. There’s an expanded “RAM Plus” feature allowing up to 8GB virtual RAM on devices with 12GB physical memory.

Samsung will continue to invite Galaxy owners globally to participate in the One UI 7 beta program via the Members app. Stable One UI 7 is expected to roll out by late Q4 2025. This release not only refines aesthetics but also demonstrates Samsung’s commitment to faster feature upgrades across its flagship portfolio.
