OPPO Begins ColorOS 15 Rollout with BeaconLink and Split View Features

The ColorOS 15 August 2025 update has started rolling out to OPPO smartphones in a phased manner, beginning on August 13 and concluding by August 31. The list of supported devices covers both Find and Reno lineups, including the OPPO Find N5, Find N3 Flip, Find N3, Find X8 series, and the Reno14, Reno13, Reno12, and Reno11 series, along with their Pro variants.

This update introduces two major features. The first is BeaconLink, a tool designed for offline communication. It enables users to share text messages, voice recordings, and even images with other nearby OPPO devices without an active internet connection. The second is Split View, which takes multitasking a step further by giving users complete control over screen division, instead of being locked into preset ratios.

Beyond these highlights, the update brings several refinements. Private Safe has been expanded to allow unlimited file storage for documents and better album customization for images and videos. System stability has been enhanced, animations have been improved for floating windows, and banner-style notifications in landscape mode are now simplified to reduce interruptions.

The update is being distributed in batches, so while some users may already have access, others may need to wait until the end of August. OPPO has emphasized that all listed devices will receive the update before August 31, 2025.
