Claude Opus 4.7 is now available through Amazon Bedrock
Amazon Bedrock now offers Claude Opus 4.7, Anthropic’s most advanced model, enhancing capabilities in coding, professional tasks, and long-duration operations for AI applications.
Amazon Bedrock, the platform designed for building AI applications and agents at a production scale, has announced the availability of Claude Opus 4.7. This model, developed by Anthropic, represents the most advanced version of the Opus series, offering significant enhancements in areas such as agentic coding, professional work tasks, and long-duration operations for developers and enterprises engaged in production AI applications.
Claude Opus 4.7 is an upgrade from its predecessor, Claude Opus 4.6, showcasing improved performance across various production workflows. The new model demonstrates better handling of ambiguity, more comprehensive problem-solving skills, and a higher level of precision in following instructions. In the realm of coding, Claude Opus 4.7 enhances agentic capabilities with improved long-horizon autonomy, systems engineering, and complex code reasoning. For professional tasks, it advances in areas such as slide and document creation, financial analysis, and data visualization. Additionally, for long-duration tasks, the model maintains focus over extended periods with enhanced reasoning and memory capabilities. It also offers improved visual capabilities, supporting high-resolution images that increase accuracy in interpreting charts, dense documents, and screen UIs where fine detail is crucial.
Claude Opus 4.7 is delivered through Amazon Bedrock’s next-generation inference engine, providing an enterprise-grade infrastructure suitable for production workloads. The system ensures zero operator data access, which means that customer prompts and responses remain confidential, inaccessible to both Anthropic and AWS operators, thereby safeguarding sensitive data. Furthermore, it offers enhanced availability through dynamic traffic routing with expanded in-region options and improved scalability.
The Claude Opus 4.7 model is available in select AWS Regions. For more information about Claude Opus 4.7 and other Anthropic models available through Amazon Bedrock, visit the Amazon Bedrock page. To begin using these resources, please refer to the Amazon Bedrock documentation.
