AWS IoT services expand to Israel and Milan regions

AWS has expanded its IoT Core and Device Management services to the Israel and Milan regions, enhancing local service capabilities.

AWS has announced the availability of its IoT Core and IoT Device Management services in the Israel (Tel Aviv) and Europe (Milan) AWS Regions. This expansion allows businesses operating in these areas to enhance their service offerings with improved response times, stronger data residency controls, and lower data transfer costs.

AWS IoT Core is a managed cloud service designed to securely connect billions of Internet of Things (IoT) devices to the cloud, enabling management at scale. It efficiently routes trillions of messages between IoT devices and AWS endpoints using bi-directional industry-standard protocols, including MQTT, HTTPS, and LoRaWAN in select regions.

Additionally, AWS IoT Device Management provides customers with the tools to search, organize, monitor, and remotely manage connected devices on a large scale. This service ensures that businesses can maintain control over their IoT infrastructure while optimizing operations and reducing overheads.

With the inclusion of these new regions, AWS IoT services are now accessible in 27 AWS Regions globally. Organizations interested in utilizing these services can consult the technical documentation for AWS IoT Core and AWS IoT Device Management to get started.
