The AWS Cost Optimization Hub has introduced a new feature that allows users to directly download cost optimization recommendations as a CSV file from the console. This enhancement enables users to export data to their local machines with just a single click, providing a streamlined and efficient way to access their information.
The new CSV download capability complements the existing Data Export feature, which allows for automated exports to Amazon S3. Users can now instantly export recommendations that reflect their current console filters, sorting preferences, and grouping settings. This immediate download process facilitates easy analysis of the recommendations using spreadsheet applications, making it more convenient to share insights with stakeholders who might not have access to the AWS console. Furthermore, it allows users to work with the recommendations offline using their preferred tools.
