AWS Management Console introduces settings for service and region visibility
AWS has launched new settings in the AWS Management Console to control the visibility of services and regions, enhancing user navigation and experience.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced the general availability of new account settings within the AWS Management Console that allow users to control the visibility of services and regions. These settings enable account administrators to customize which services and regions are displayed for authorized users. This feature aims to enhance user experience by allowing individuals to easily identify accessible services and regions, thereby streamlining navigation within the console.
Users can manage these visibility settings through the Unified Settings located under the Account Settings tab in the AWS Management Console. Additionally, these configurations can be applied programmatically using the User Experience Customization (UXC) feature available through the AWS Command Line Interface (CLI), AWS Software Development Kits (SDKs), AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), or AWS CloudFormation.
The Visible services and Visible Regions settings are offered in AWS Commercial Regions without any extra charges. For additional details and guidance on utilizing these features, users can refer to the AWS User Experience Customization documentation page and API guide.
