AWS Elemental MediaTailor is now available in the Europe (London) region, allowing for improved ad insertion processes closer to Northern European audiences. This expansion reduces latency and enhances ad fill rates.

AWS Elemental MediaTailor is now operational in the Europe (London) AWS Region. This expansion brings the personalized ad insertion and channel assembly capabilities of MediaTailor closer to audiences in Northern Europe. MediaTailor facilitates video providers in delivering targeted advertisements within live and on-demand video streams through server-side ad insertion (SSAI) and Server Guided Ad Insertion (SGAI). This approach ensures a seamless broadcast-quality viewing experience, eliminating the buffering and ad blockers commonly associated with client-side ad insertion.

With the availability of MediaTailor in London, customers can now execute their ad insertion processes closer to their European audience, which significantly reduces ad decisioning latency and enhances ad fill rates. The use of SSAI or SGAI workflows allows for lower-latency ad stitching and more efficient ad tracking, benefiting viewers across Europe.
