Aws builder id expands login options with GitHub and Amazon
AWS Builder ID now supports login via GitHub and Amazon accounts, enhancing convenience and security for accessing AWS resources.
AWS Builder ID, the profile used for accessing various AWS applications such as AWS Builder Center, AWS Training and Certification, and Kiro, has introduced new social login options. Users can now sign in using their GitHub and Amazon accounts, in addition to the existing Google and Apple sign-in capabilities. This update provides GitHub and Amazon users a more convenient way to access AWS resources without the need to manage separate AWS credentials.
With the integration of GitHub and Amazon for sign-in, developers and builders can access their AWS Builder ID profiles seamlessly using their existing GitHub or Amazon account credentials. This enhancement simplifies password management, reduces the likelihood of forgotten passwords, and offers a smoother experience for both new and returning users. Whether you’re accessing development resources in AWS Builder Center, enrolling in certification programs, or using Kiro to code your next application, your GitHub and Amazon accounts can now serve as a secure entry point to your AWS journey.
