RailOne App Launched: One-stop Passenger Solution

On the 40th Foundation Day of the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw unveiled RailOne, an all-in-one mobile application to enhance passenger experience.

Key Features:

  • Available on Android and iOS app stores.

  • Combines multiple passenger services in one app:

    • Unreserved UTS tickets (via R-Wallet with 3% discount)

    • Live train tracking

    • Grievance redressal

    • E-catering, porter booking & last-mile taxi services

  • Single sign-on with mPIN or biometric login, supports existing RailConnect & UTS credentials.

  • Space-efficient — eliminates the need to install multiple railway-related apps.

  • Reserved tickets continue through IRCTC, but RailOne is an authorized IRCTC partner.

Future Plans:

  • Modern Passenger Reservation System (PRS) to be launched by December 2025:

    • Multilingual, agile & scalable to handle 10× current load.

    • Advanced features for seat choice, fare calendar, and options for Divyangjan, students, and patients.
