Google’s Veo 3, the AI-powered video generator unveiled at Google I/O just weeks ago, is now available worldwide — including in India — for all users subscribed to the Google AI Pro plan through the Gemini app.
Since launch, Veo 3 has already made waves with viral videos that showcase its creative potential — from reimagined historical moments to quirky, surreal clips like slicing a glass apple or spotting Bigfoot. With Veo 3, users can create 8-second AI-generated videos complete with sound, synthesized speech, background music, and sound effects, offering a more immersive and realistic output.
Google says the rollout is part of its commitment to bring advanced AI creativity tools to more users, while keeping safety and transparency at the forefront. Each video created through Veo 3 carries a visible watermark as well as a hidden SynthID marker to signal that it was AI-generated.
The company also emphasized that it has rigorously tested the tool — including through “red teaming” — and enforces strict policies to prevent misuse and unsafe content generation.
Users are encouraged to continue providing feedback through the app’s thumbs up/down feature to help improve the experience.
